Implant at 22 - Serious longevity concern

Like the title says, I’m 22. I’ve had ED for four years, more than two of them on injections, and I’ve never been able to find a dose that works reliably. No atrophy or fibrosis. I’m scheduled with Dr. Eid next month for a Titan.
I know the 10 to 15 year survival numbers. Over a normal lifespan that puts me at five devices minimum, and I haven’t been able to find out whether a lifetime of revisions is actually sustainable.

Three questions for long-timers and anyone implanted young or willing to offer insight:
1. How many devices, what intervals, and did the later ones last as long as the first?
2. Did each revision get more complicated? More scar tissue, length lost each time?
3. Is there an end to this?

My worry isn’t the device failing, it’s the corpora eventually being too scarred to accept another one, or erosion preventing replacement. Has anyone hit that wall, or come close? How many devices in were you?

I’m making this decision with the longevity risk in mind. I’d rather live my life while I can.

This is the key fact to accept when choosing to get an implant. Yes you may lose length on a revision (I did), you could have bad luck and encounter stuff like a erosion or infection. When going for the implant, you need to be very confident that entering into these unknowns is better than living with your ED penis as it is now

Biggest thing to make sure is find a good surgeon. And stay healthy and fit. Those are the 2 things you can control. Yes infection is higher with each revision slightly. And some people get upsized with follow up surgeries but doesnt always translate to longer dick.

The Titan has been lab tested for 6 million cycles. It can last an entire lifetime.

Dr Eid is among the best surgeons doing implants today. If you put yourself in his hands you will be well served.

Yes, you will likely need a couple revisions, but as technology improves, those improvements will be seen in implants as well. I expect that future devices will last longer than my current one. Better more durable materials.

Although revisions have a slightly higher risk of infection, it’s just a slight increase.

You have the right attitude, it’s important to live your life NOW. We only get one.

Dr. Perito in MTP YouTube videos says that all complications are 1% if we use a high volume dedicated implanter.

Great attitude. An implant is a life changer. Hope one lasts for you for many years. Dr Eid is said to be one of the best.

Forget about the future. You prefer to fuck now or when you are 60? There is no other solution. I got implanted when I was 27 (29 now) and It was the BEST decisión of my life my only regret is wasting so much time before It.

Agree with others. I would choose to have more sex in my prime than in my later years IF it came down to that. It’s most common to upsize yet still maintain full length on revisions. If revision is due to implant failure the revision is a much simpler task as in slide old out and new in. Recovery should be easier. My problem with first revision was issues with improper placement of reservoir and tips of cylinders. I made 4 years plus and then got tired of reservoir protruding and irritating me. It was the old reservoir location that got infected and eventually over 5-6 weeks migrated into my new IPP and caused another salvage and later an explant which I’m now halfway thru the waiting period before getting a new one. My legitimate fear is loosing size from scar tissue building up. Doing tons of VED use to hopefully not have issues. Had I went with a better Dr the first time I would never be in the situation I’m in now. Get it done right and deal with any issues that arise when they come.

How much length did you lose with a revision, and how/why did you lose that length? Also, why did your first implant fail after just 3 years?
