When to stop vaccum and traction before the surgery?
Is it safe to vacuum and traction until the surgery day to maximize the benefits or body can do the opposite and the tissues retract

I pumped the night before and was exactly the same length after surgery.
It isn’t like there are any studies on this but I don’t think there is any reason to worry.

There are numerous surgeons on line that advise stopping pumping one week prior to surgery. I discussed this with my surgeon and he advised the same thing. This is to avoid possible bruising of the area prior to the surgery.

I used a VED literally in the parking lot before my surgery. You can continue it right up to surgery, which is what my surgeon recommends.

Not a bad consideration... you should know your experience level. I have done PE (exercises) for a decade or more, so pumping doesn't cause any discoloration or anything. I have never gotten a blister. I know my limits by feel now, but if you are new to it, you may not want to be aggressive right before a surgery.
