Little kink in tube

Hi everyone,

Since I received my AMS 700 LGX a little over two weeks ago, my penis has partially inflated to a nearly fully erect state. I've noticed that my penis has started to droop slightly to the left again, like it used to before the surgery, and it seems like one of the two tubes that were inserted now has a slight kink.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I have my first appointment with the urologist on Friday, and I'll find out what we're going to do next then.

I'm 4 weeks out from implant (AMS 700 CX w/MS pump), and the tubing caused a lot of discomfort where it loops around to the implants, but I wouldn't say it was a kink. If you have been doing your pump pulling exercises, it might be possible that you squeezed the bulb slightly causing some inflation, and that added up over time to a nearly erect penis. If you have the Tenacio pump, perhaps that happened as I understand they take less pressure to pump vs. the MS pump.

I experienced some inflation over time, even though the MS pump is very stiff, and a couple of days ago I deflated the implants back to where the surgeon had them post-op (even though I was not supposed to inflate/deflate until the 6 weeks post-op visit). I suspect I had pressed the bulb somewhat over time while pulling the pump down causing inflation. It really got irritating to the glans walking around with that inflation.

In any case, it's good that you've got a post-op visit coming up shortly. I will add that during the 3 to 4 week period post-op, discomfort and other issues starting getting much better. There is daylight at the end of the tunnel.

I would bet on a dog ear. Outside towards the base & tender if you rub it? Then I really suspect a dog ear. In the long run they aren't harmful if not rubbed excessively. Your body will get used to it.

Agreed… what people don’t seem to explain well is the dog ear isn’t usually 100% like bending a McDonalds straw, it’s usually more like a crunchy part in the implant but it changes and eventually softens a lot.
