It’s been two months since my revision, and yes I do wake up with an erection. Not sure as to why, but I’m not questioning it.

About 6 months after my surgery I started having the occasional sensation of morning wood. No, I didn't really have an erection, but it sure felt like it. Still have that sensation a couple times a month.

Yes, happens to me many times. Never a 100% boner, but it like waking up with a boner. I wondered why myself. I even spoke with my AMS support person. Never an exact answer as to why, but I'm not complaining. I feels good though.

If I’m taking my cialis I get that most morning about 3-4 am. If I havet taken any cialis in 3-4 days I don’t. It’s your body’s natural erections that you would get if your dick was totally healthy. Morning wood. It’s not like a hard erection but definitely filled out and round and firm. Feels good though. I didn’t have any for the first 3-4 months after implant, but I also didn’t get any engorgement during that time either. Assuming it was the swelling and irritation from surgery.

I have only been implanted six weeks, but I definitely am noticing a “feeling” of an erection that comes from being turned on and glans swelling and engorgement. It’s funny, because I can now fill the cylinders and be super hard, but don’t feel like I have an erection because I am not turned on, even though I got a poky dick. At the same time I can be deflated but feel like I have an erection because of the engorgement around my deflated cylinders (to be honest, deflated cylinders + engorgement feels a lot more erect than I felt in a long time pre-implant without pills).

I am pleasantly surprised that my dick still shows these signs of “natural” erection. I could always get turned on… that’s never been a problem for me, haha. I just couldn’t get/keep blood in the corpus sufficient to be rigid. The implant is giving me what I never had, but I still got what I did!

During an erection, there are two pathways for blood: the corpus cavernosum and the corpus spongiosum. An implant replaces the corpus cavernosum (top side), and your corpus spongiosum (bottom side into the head) remains intact.

I read that the brain triggers for sexual and nighttime erections are different, so while a guy with ED might experience sexual performance issues, he might still get nighttime erections. I reckon this is sort of what's happening with implanted guys who get morning wood: the brain causes blood to flow into the spongiosum.

I haven't experienced that yet, and being only a week in with stitches still... I try to not even think about getting a boner. Fuckin' ow. I'll find out eventually though.

I still get some engorgement after over 6 years with implant and 1/2 that long with my repair. It would not be enough to produce an erection that I could have sex with. Or it is just like it was prior to implant surgery. When I get aroused, and I do feel sensation I get some engorgement. It can happen anytime of the day just like when I would get erections when I was younger. Again not an erection like when I was younger and healthy but just some mild engorgement or a bit of a chubby with pleasant sensation.
