Should I get Rigicon Infal10 or AMS/Titan?

Postby arazon » Tue Oct 06, 2026 1:46 pm

I’m planning to be part of a clinical trial involving the Rigicon Infal10 AX with Dr Perito. But I also have an option of getting an AMS or Titan and Medicaid will pay for it with Dr Hillelsohn. Considering that the Rigicon Infal10 AX is a fairly new product and is part of this clinical trial study, what implant should I get? What are your thoughts?

I'm not in the USA so this is only an arms length observation. Perito is a very well known high volume implant surgeon and considered one of the top tier. I still practise his penile rehab/expansion exercises regularly. I looked up Dr Joel Hillelsohn. He doesn't come up as high volume for implants but if you search on here some guys have had a very good outcome with him. FT member Vitalssk used Dr Hillelsohn successfully, so it may be worth messaging him about his experience.

Any of the implants can get you a good outcome if correctly selected, measured and installed by an experienced and competent surgeon. It's only my opinion but if you have any significant Peyronie's curvature, fibrosis or other structural weakness I would probably avoid the Rigicon AX and the AMS LGX. They are designed to expand in length and girth but considered less rigid than the Coloplast Titan, AMS CX or Rigicon X. Noting that my own LGX is rock hard but apparently most other models are even harder, especially the Titan. Also if you are girthy the Titan may be a better choice as the cylinders are wider.

I had been deciding between the Rigicon AX and AMS LGX and was leaning towards the AX. But there had been some quality issues at the time with the Rigicon connectors, so we went with the LGX. My doc told me later on that Rigicon eventually fixed the problem with new robust connectors. I assume the US trial would be using those.

Are you able to have a consult with both surgeons to see what they recommend and how you feel about them?
I appreciate that there may also be a cost factor to consider in which way you decide.

“Should I get a Ferrari or a Lamborghini?”

This is the equivalent question. All three of the implant types available in the US (Coloplast, AMS, Rigicon) are excellent devices and work very similarly, with a few design differences. The best way to decide is based on your goals.

If you want the hardest, most impressive erect dick money can buy, you want a Titan or possibly an AMS CX if you want a little bit softer flaccid. If have a smaller penis and/or want a natural flaccid look, AMS LGX might be the answer. If you have bigger girth and want to preserve it, Rigicon has the widest cylinders.

In my case, I didn’t have much choice because of my size, only Titan has cylinders large enough to accommodate me without using RTEs. But I have been thrilled with the device and knowing what I know now I would probably choose a Titan over other devices if I had a choice. Does that mean it’s “the best”? No, only that it’s ideal *for me*. Every device has compromises in design, you have to find the set of compromises that you can best live with long term.

Ford/GM/Chevy.

These devices are built by very smart engineers. You can’t go wrong with these.
