Sorry to hear that. How long have you been implanted? Is this a new problem or has it happened previously?
Also what age are you and any medical problems? Those things can have an effect as we get older.
I'm 72 and still orgasm 100% with my implant, but it took months to get to that level of performance.

I think age may be the biggest factor here. I didnt have problems the moment i was cleared. In fact i was able to get off before sex was formally cleared as holding it for so long was too much. But im also on trt and am fairly young

Definitely post a signature with your surgery date, implant type and size, surgeon, etc. it helps us understand your full situation.

If your surgery was within the last 6-12 months. I would say this is not normal per se, but very common. Your body takes time to heal, aggravated nerves have to calm down, blood vessels need to heal and provide adequate blood flow again, etc.

I was able to orgasm from masturbation within a couple of weeks of surgery, but not from sex until almost six months. And then it was occasional and only slowly increased in frequency. I’m closing in on 11 months post-op and am finally getting to the point of being able to orgasm most times from sex.

It’s a recovery process and it’s a marathon and not a sprint. Stay focused on enjoying the sex and the ability to have sex on demand whenever you want, and it will almost certainly come back over time. Can you currently orgasm via masturbation?

I will chime in here as well. Had surgery in May and initially I had a lot of trouble getting an orgasm with masturbation. During sex it was out of the question. I can now have orgasm with both (PIV as well) but I do need a lot of stimulation. But it is clearly improving...be patient.

That would be wonderful, but the evidence actually suggests that such products are ineffective. Any urologist would confirm this. Eat a healthy diet, exercise, and—above all—stay hydrated by drinking at least two liters of water a day. Consume as little alcohol as possible and do not smoke. All of this has a very positive effect on ejaculate volume. Sperm production is highest when you are young and decreases with age, that‘s the norm of course.
