1 Week Post Op

Postby PEGuy86 » Wed Jul 15, 2026 6:12 pm

Hi everyone,
I’m one week post-op with a 20 cm Titan with RTE.
I’m having really mixed emotions right now. Everything appears much smaller than I expected. I completely understand that I’m only at the beginning of the healing process, but my initial reaction to seeing myself hasn’t been very positive.
Can anyone relate or share their experience? I’d really appreciate hearing how things progressed for you.
Thank you.
39 yo from Canada.

PEGuy86, welcome to the bionic brotherhood ! Yes it is early, and you're probably not 100% pumped up, and you probably have swelling around that area that distorts things. It's really hard to get a sense of size until you start cycling, and you'll still have to wait weeks if not months until everything settles in. In my case, everything looked awful after surgery and I wondered "what the hell did I let them do to me" for a couple weeks. Having gone thru that I'd do it again in a heartbeat, and its incredible :)

In the mean time you might find some inspiration here :

Thanks so much Chuck, I appreciate your words. I’ve been thinking the same, “what have I done!” I know it will all be worth it eventually and again I appreciate your reply.

Like Chuck said, give it time. A week after surgery my equipment was looking pretty pitiful, but now it looks the same as before but gets way harder!

Right after surgery and my first cycle attempts it was looking like I had lost a full inch. 3 months later it’s all back. Very pleased. But also note I aggressively and diligently followed my surgeons cycling protocol. That’s very important.

Much like the other guys have said but we all have unique experiences. In hospital the morning after surgery two very young nurses came in to unwrap my dick and check things over. I was 30% to 40 % erect for the first six weeks and we all got a first look. Both disappointing and embarrassing. I was very erect but undersized, bruised, swollen and aching, but also some numbness. Although they knew what I had done I don't think either girl had actually seen an implant result before. A number of curious questions were asked and I felt like a living museum exhibit. I didn't really start to see size improve until I began cycling at 6 weeks.

Fast forward after a number of months of healing and cycling. I had recovered my original size, no more swelling or bruising and discomfort had pretty much gone. Sensation had mostly returned. Went from grower to significant shower, now with not much difference between flaccid and erect size. I was having fantastic pain free sex like never before. Customizable erections on demand whenever I want and only back to flaccid when I want. You are definitely in the "WTF have I done?" phase, which will pass. You will get there but the timeframe varies and the ride can be bumpy at times. Hang in there.

Have to agree with others here, it's early, give it time.
At one week post-op I was still on the couch in pain thinking why did I do this? Looking between my legs was a horrible sight.
At my 2 week follow up doc tried to deflate me. That felt like a kick in the sack. Hurt so bad after that had to beg doc for stronger pain meds. Few weeks later things turned around.
I didn't know Frank Talk existed before my implant, so I knew nothing. I just handled it day by day. Found FT 5 months post. Healing is different for every guy anyway, so it didn't matter as far as I'm concerned.

Also agree. One week and if your surviving without terrible pain your normal. It’s a bad time to focus on anything except getting thru the next few weeks. Turn your mind off any issues you might perceive about size for at least a couple months after you start cycling.hang in there, it’s an uphill climb but better things are in store in the near future

This is great advice. I was fortunate in that I had read dozens of patient stories before my surgery, and knew things were going to take a long time to become normal again. I didn’t even worry about size, appearance, sensitivity, etc. for the first 1-2 months, and just focused on healing and keeping everything managed well to prevent infection or other complications.

If you can adopt a mindset of “the surgery is done, it will be what it is”, it will help you to relax into the process somewhat.

Don't panic.

It's the #1 thing discussed in here and if you go thru enough posts you will see most of the guys who felt exactly like you will write months later how they regained back either their entire size or something very close to it.

Your goal right now is to heal and relax.
Your Doctor will show you how to inflate/deflate in about 5-6 weeks from now.
The second you get green lighted to cycle...
GET AFTER IT.
I cycled at least 45 minutes to an hour every day bending twisting and manipulating until my hands went numb.

You WILL see increases in size, but it's going to take time and effort.
Trust me(us)

Best wishes.
