Why does a simple small fibrosis nodule hurt so much?

Why does a simple small fibrosis nodule hurt so much? Sometimes I think that if this hurts me a lot now that I don't have a prosthesis, what pain will it cause to put on a prosthesis? or will it be less for some reason? I have been in pain for months, and my question or doubt is that when the cylinders are implanted they will cause much more fibrosis and pain. but for some reason people recover quickly. Could someone explain to me why this happens? or if my fear is really real?

I had a bb size fibrosis which was caused by injecting. Any masterbation or sex made it very tender… after implant it was gone. No idea what happened, asked Dr and he didn’t recall anything about it during surgery.. it’s gone now
