splitpeach, I can't answer that because I don't have any knowledge about the pants you wear :)

if you take into consideration that recovery doesn't go perfect but with some delay like I had, January would have brought me into April, May which messed up my time schedule for other things. If this works for you January is fine.
My engorgement is fine and looks natural, no floppy glans. You can see a pic in my post
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=27926

There is still some blood flow into the glans so I dont need any additional help.

Well, I suspect a pair of trousers having a big hole in the pocket might not be so common. Apart from providing access to an inflatable penile implant pump it would otherwise, I suspect, make for a rather useless pocket.

Yes, reading your journal it seems that you weren't quite comfortable until around the five month mark?

I think it's making more sense for me to delay until after summer the more I'm looking at it!

Your pictures look good! I don't know what your pre implant erection was like to compare though of course. Also I don't know how aroused you were in that pic? I think my concern is being pumped up but not engorged which would make me look very strange as I'm such a grower naturally. Also, I suspect that my dick would look very strange flaccid being so much bigger but the glans etc being the same size as it is now which is much smaller

Hey splitpeach! Just popping in as someone who decided on an implant in his 30’s. I had (technically still HAVE) a venous leak, so blood would flow in great but not stay.

I could get erections with help of pills but they were hit or miss because maintaining the erections was always a process… and took the fun and spontaneity out of sex.

I got an MPP (a Rigi10 specifically) so my experience so far is different from most guys since the IPP is typically the “go to” implant. I haven't used it for sex yet but plenty of masturbation since being cleared about two weeks ago.

My first experience with masturbation was a mixed bag because I really wasn’t used to the implant yet. Don’t know how to explain it but I had to “relearn” things a bit this last week or so and get comfortable with it.

But now - one of my biggest realizations has been how much more ENJOYABLE even just masturbating is. My orgasms are actually stronger than ever before, and I’m CONFIDENT it’s related to the fact that I can just ENJOY without needing to manage my erection.

So that has been a big win. I’ve got a whole journal I’ve been doing documenting my experience, but the TLDR of it for me honestly is that I don’t regret taking this step. ED really limited me. I haven’t even had sex with my implant yet but my confidence is through the roof knowing I’ve finally taken control back.

The IPPs are pretty incredible, the rigidity is unmatched and the ability to cycle is a big deal for girth and length preservation. I did take a slight hit in these areas with my MPP and some atrophy is a possibility with the MPP, whereas with the IPPs that gets mitigated with the cycling.
33 yrs old. ED since high school. Pills always hit or miss, mostly ineffective. Finally diagnosed with venous leak in early September 2025.
Rigi10 MPP 11mm rods 20 cm with 0.5 RTE.
Implanted w/ Dr Hakky on January 20, 2026. Recovering.

Hi splitspeach and thanks. Its in my signature the measurements but it looks the same as before. I was not aroused at all.
About timing. I planed the whole thing nearly a year. When I decided the surgeon I set up a date which for me was the beginning of November. Then I got in contact with the dr about vailability. When I got the accurate date I ask for to hold it for me with the option to confirm not before 2 month prior surgery. With this in hand I had plenty of time to prepare myself mentally and get as much information as possible and start organise the other parts like where to stay and how to travel. Dont rush and the cold is much more suitable for this type of activity than summertime :)

This is the way. Really glad to hear this, Johnny. It’s just gonna get better and better.
Born 1974. Implanted 5/21/2024. AMS 700 CX 21cm, 3cm RTE. Penoscrotal. Venous leak my whole life. Pills helped, but hated the side effects; worked less as I aged. Skipped injections. Grateful to bionic brotherhood that helped me make this decision.

splitpeach wrote:My Dilemma: I'm late 30s, ED since teen. Been using injections for last seven years.

If I get an implant it will be a Rigicon. I have the option of getting one implanted by a leading surgeon in 3 weeks. I need to let them know now.

My dick is fine, nice size, good shape etc. Injections still work for me in some way but they're becoming less effective, less longer lasting and I'm getting tired of having to obtain them, carry them and sneak off to take them.

What would you all do?

I'm concerned about penile shortening, sensation loss but most of all shape change.

And of course there's no turning back.

Too young?

Too functional (with injections)?

Its a departmental trial they're doing so Rigicon may not be offered otherwise with them for some time after this. That's the other issue.

I want the Rigicon and I want it done by this surgeon.

Also, I wanted to do it after summer if anything. Why go through recovery all over summer. I want to be recovering in the "off season" over winter.

I’m 38. 5 years on injections. They are starting to cause some scar tissue but still give me an effective erection. But none the less I am taking the plunge on April 14 w/ Dr. Eid. Years relying on injections has slowly eroded confidence and my sense of self. Lately it feels like my sex life is about finding a safe place to inject…. Not just enjoying spontaneous sex I used too.

It’s cost me a lot these last 5 years mentally and in relationships. I am willing to take the leap to give my self a chance at a life where I no longer have to worry about damaging my self or planning injections. To feel whole again as a man…yeah that

Hope this perspective helps.
38 nyc. Great sexlife 18-31. Ed at 32, Trimix/bi mix last 5 years. Confidence gone, spontaneity gone. Scar tissue building up. I want my life back. Surgery with Eid confirmed for April 14.

That's an interesting insight. Why was it you had the malleable over an inflatable?
